Something Old, Something New: June

Hi everyone and welcome to the June Something Old, Something New challenge! It is Trace (tracermajig) here with you again and this month we are playing with masks.

As always, the aim of the challenge is to use an old product and new product together on your page. You can use anything from these element packs if you have them or what Katie has provided in the freebie. Let’s see what we are playing with!

How beautiful is Renee’s (5grand) page? I feel as though I could reach out and touch it. The masked photo looks right at home and the blocked photo works great as a landing place for journaling!

I (tracermajig) decided to go with layers and use the masks with papers. I needed something in my background to lighten things up a little, so I clipped a paper to another one of masks to add a little white. It’s subtle but I like the effect!
