Then and Now: Anything Goes!

Good morning! Julie here with another Then and Now Challenge. This month any topic is on the board. You could revisit one we did previously or do something new. You might find photos of a treasured possession, a friendship that has stood the test of time, photos that depict a first and last (day of school, work, where you lived, etc…) or even different hairstyles through the decades. Let’s look at what some of the Creative Team members came up with this month.

First we have Shannon. She put together a page about her great-grandmother’s house and the memories her family has made there over the years. Unfortunately the house burned down recently, which is the “now” part of this page. Sometimes it’s a sad situation that makes us reflect on the past. I do love the photos Shannon used here that tell the story of the people who made this house a home.

Next up is LoriAnn. Her topic is a very short then and now… a before and after! LoriAnn chose to do a page about a special makeover she received. We are very flexible here on what you choose to scrap, so if you have a before and after idea please feel free to scrap it!

One of our Guest Creative Team Members made this next page. Penny shares a lovely page about her son all grown up, and some of the changes she sees between the then and now.

Templates can make quick work for completing a page. Look for ones that have the same number of photos you are working with. And I love the paper Penny paired with this template! Layer Works 2316, and Color Swatch Willow Paper Pack.

And finally here is a page by Stacia. I love the title of her page and how she used dates on the photos to show the 10-year progression.
