Eye Spy(der) – A Template MashUp Challenge

When your name is Weber (which mine is) spiders and their webs are the way you decorate for Halloween. That gave me the idea to use two spidery templates for the next Template MashUp Challenge. The challenge is very simple. Combine the pieces and parts of these two templates to create your own unique page. It’s okay to add a few additional items as finishing touches. These templates are on sale in the KPD store this week! Here are the templates I chose for this challenge:
To give you some template mashing ideas, our Creative Team has designed three uniquely different inspiration pages.
The first page was designed by Lori Ann (lmaggs.) These templates had the perfect title and word art to accompany her cute trick-or-treaters’ photo! Her horizontal page arrangement is quite eye catching! Lori Ann also used these products: Essential Vellums Paper Pack 01 and Arctic Whites Paper Pack 02.
Julie’s spooky page (Julie DeGuia) is next. She has artfully combined frames and brushes from both templates. The addition of the smoky gray background and dark border complete her fun and scary page. In addition to the templates, Julie used Classic Cardstock: Hoops,
Clean Stitched Borders White No.1 and October Woods Collection.
For my page (grandma lynnie) I challenged myself to use only the template elements and to use the templates as equally as I could. I also searched out a very old Halloween photo! The little guy in the photo is 50 today!
If you are inspired to mash these templates and create your own page, please post it in the Template Challenge Gallery for all to enjoy. Be sure to also post a link to your page in the October Challenge Participation thread to earn a valuable coupon to the KPD store.
