Something Old, Something New

Hi Friends!

It’s Trace (tracermajig) with a new Something Old, Something New challenge! Our challenge this month has an autumnal/Halloween twist and I hope you can play along!

I have chosen two element packs this time around and I think they give you quite a few options for kickstarting a page! Like always, the only rule with this challenge is to use an old and new product together. You can choose anything from these element packs if you have them or use the freebie pack that Katie has provided.

Addie (AddieG) created a gorgeous autumn page! I love the way the leaves frame that beautiful photo and the cluster of word strips help tell the story. It all works wonderfully together!

Stacia (Stacia) scrapped a Halloween memory. I love how she used the vintage ephemera in Collageables 5 to set the scene for her page. The big chipboard title with the cluster of word strips is also fantastic!

I (tracermajig) knew that I wanted to create a Halloween page, so I challenged myself to use all of the elements in the freebie. The word strips in both element packs are great for layering. If you haven’t already got Collageables 5, there are a lot of wonderful bits and bobs to discover in that pack including buttons, bows, a frame and autumn themed ephemera.
