Template Mashup: Adventure
Scrapping the photos from our adventures are among the most happy subjects for our scrapbook pages and the best way to make sure we remember them. I’m Merrilee (aka digigrandma) and I’m featuring two templates with an adventure theme for this new Mashup.
I hope you decide to join in on this Mashup. It certainly cuts down on the time it takes to create a page when you don’t have to search all over in your stash for the design elements. For this challenge you simply choose the design elements from both the featured templates when you create your own unique page.
When you’ve completed your page, please post in our Gallery and in the August Participation Thread in the Forum so you earn points towards a discount code to use in our store. It’s the perfect time to add these templates to your scrapbook stash when they go on sale for the Thrifty Thursday sale this week.
I’m eager to show you how some Creative Team members designed their examples using the templates.
First up is Valerie’s (aka nana_vg) page. It made me smile to see the two photos she scrapped. That fish is a beauty and it was caught by Valerie’s granddaughter who made her brother very jealous that he wasn’t along on this fishing adventure. The background paper is from Palette Textures Paper Pack 07.
Rachael (aka myssp) wowed me by filling in the pie shaped pieces in the circle with eye catching patterns. The two photos show happy water adventures at a beautiful beach. Papers are from Golden Pretty Ad-On Paper Pack and Pattering Palettes 02 ARToptions Paper Pack.
Wendy (aka wendymck) and her husband are fortunate to travel to many beautiful places. Her page features this stunning photo taken at sunset. A background paper from Vintage Winter Woods Solids Paper Pack completes her page.
I dipped back in my stash of photos from past trips to scrap memories of an adventure in Arizona. I loved the embellishments available to me in the two templates. My pretty background paper is from Palette Textures Paper Pack 02.
