Template MashUp-On The Diagonal
Hi! This is Lynn (grandmalynnie) bringing you the latest Template MashUp Challenge. This Template MashUp Challenge has a bit of a different slant-a diagonal slant, that is! For the challenge, I searched the thousands of layered templates at KPD and chose two that feature diagonal lines. The challenge is simply to use elements from both templates to create your own page. Addition of a few other elements is allowed. Here are the chosen templates which are included in this week’s sale:
The first inspiration page is by Kathy (blackkathy). She has created a beautiful combination of papers for her background. Clipping a softly patterned paper to the background strips was very creative! She added texture to her page with the doily behind her photo. In addition to the featured templates, Kathy used Vintage Artistry Nature Study Solids, Vintage Artistry Nature Study Ledger Paper, Vintage Artistry Nature Study Papers 2.
Our next inspiration page is by Julie (MaggieMae.) Such cute photos! She used the main design from the Layer Works template and added in elements from the Patchwork template to give details and complete her page. I like her addition of the page border. In addition to the featured templates, Julie used Seasons Finest Solids Paper Pack, Lightly Linens Paper Pack 34, Palette Textures Paper Pack 08, Chasing Rainbows Mini Scrapbook Kit.
Monica (mosbaskets) designed the next inspiration page. Her title is Peace and Quiet and she really created a peaceful relaxing page from her soft background to the lovely colors she chose. Her photo placement contributed to the diagonal look of the page. Doesn’t this look like a great place to relax? In addition to the featured templates, Monica used these Vintage Artistry Nature Study products: Solids, Paper Pack 2, Ephemera Plus and Sentiment Transfers 4.
For my page, Who We Are, I combined backgrounds from the two templates, used elements from both templates around my photo and added elements from the Away We Go Collection
