Christmas in July Template MashUp

It’s Christmas in July time at Katie Pertiet Designs. For this week’s Template MashUp Challenge, I chose two Christmas templates from the hundreds of great templates in the KPD store. For this challenge, use elements from these two templates to design a page of your own. Additional elements can be added to complete your page. These are the two chosen templates that are on sale in the KPD store this week.

Our Creative Team has created three inspiration pages to illustrate some of the ways these templates can be mashed. The first page is from Valerie (nana_vg.) Her multiphoto page uses frames from both templates to frame fun photos from a Christmas photo shoot. The combination of green, gold and red elements from the chosen templates is perfect to accompany her photos.

The next inspiration page is from Wendy (wendymck). To frame her special photos she duplicated the small frame and turned another sideways. Her journaling and the title she chose combine with her photos to tell a wonderful story! The background brushes complete her page perfectly.

When scanning old photos,  I (grandma lynnie) found these photos from my childhood and recalled a story my mother told about me. As my granddaughters are asking for pages from my childhood, I chose to use these for my page. I was glad for the bright colors of the templates to accompany my black and white photos.
