5th Saturday Scraplift: Creative Team Spotlight

Today is the 5th Saturday of May and time for another special scraplift! Jana here and I’m excited to shine the creative team spotlight on our fabulous and talented Lynnie (grandma lynnie)! She offers a lot of very inspiring, delightful layouts with many family photos and adventures. Take some time to peruse her beautiful gallery and choose a layout that inspires you. Maybe it’s the composition, the colors or the embellishments that catches your eye. Let that inspire you to lift and create a page of your own. Lynnie’s gallery can be found here:

Several of our team members were excited to participate and created these wonderful pages to give you some ideas.

First, Valerie (nana_vg) chose this sweet page to lift.

Here is her lovely page with a similar circular text path supporting her framed photos. I love the butterflies and floral elements! The coral and blue colors are just gorgeous! The little cluster at the bottom of the photos is so cute and what a sweet quote to add to this one!

Products she used: Around Words Brushes and Stamps 12, Big Bottom Lift Classic PhotoFrames 01, Color Swatch Inkwell Ephemera, Deelen Scrapbook Kit, Floral Refresh Ephemera, Found in Nature Brushes and Stamps 01, Vintage Artistry Coral Ephemera, Dreamy Paper Pack 02

Next up, Carol (carollee) actually chose two of Lynnie’s pages to lift! Love that!

Carol’s creative muse came up with this awesome page! What a gorgeous large photo from that island! Wish I were there today! You may or may not recognize some of those gals in her photo. Love, love, love her title and I just know they were having an absolute blast together! The fishing net works well with the photo mats and of course, the seagull is a must have on the beach!

Products she used: Torn Classic White Photo Frames 03, Edge Overlays 04, Patterning Palettes 03 Roughed Up Photo Mats, Vintage Artistry Beached Ephemera, Summer Porch Ephemera, Splatters Brushes and Stamps 03

Merr (digigrandma) was inspired by this cute page of Lynnie’s.

Here is Merr’s beautiful page. She also used a large photo mask, which really shows off her gorgeous patio area! Love the smaller framed photo that accompanies the focal one and the little round tag. If you know Merr, you know she loves cardinals. See that little guy sitting on the brick wall? Cuteness! Her plants are so beautiful too!

Products she used: Brushstroke Photo Mask 05, Color Swatch Grove Paper Pack, Lightly Linens Paper Pack 18, Monthly Memories Layered Template Pack No 05 (pink tag), Layer Works 2340 (the bow and the button), Layer Works 1361 (brush work, photo frame, edger and splatters)

I lifted this fun zoo page of Lynnie’s!

I came up with these two pages from a visit to the aquarium the other day! I also used photo clusters to frame all of these photos, as well as a large title. The Blendable LTs gave me an interesting background with an emphasis on sea life.

Products I used: (1st page), Blendable Layers 72, Photo Clusters 61, Adventures LT 03 (title), Adventures LT 07 (cluster), Dolphin Cove Element Pack  , (2nd page), Blendable Layers 72, Photo Clusters 61, Adventures LT 12 (title), Under the Sea LT (cluster), Dolphin Cove Element Pack

Now, it’s your turn to peruse Lynnie’s gallery and choose a page to lift!

When posting, please don’t forget to include a link to the original layout that inspired you. Your finished page should be uploaded to the Creative Team Spotlight Scraplifts Gallery and be sure to also post the link in the May Challenge Participation Thread  so you get credit for joining in and have a chance to win a KPD store coupon.

This is a great opportunity to try new styles and have fun with our KPD scrapbooking community. I can’t wait to see how this Creative Team Spotlight inspires you—happy scrapping and have a wonderful weekend!
