2nd JUNE TEMPLATE MASHUP CHALLENGE

Hi all! It’s Barbara (grantlaurensmom) here with the second Template Mashup Challenge of June. I’m so enjoying the warm weather we’ve been having so I decided to choose a couple happy feeling templates that could be used in so many ways… for a spring/summer day, an ordinary moment, for absolutely anything, so I think I’ve got some great templates for you to play with for this challenge!
If this is your first time joining us on a template challenge, the rules are super simple: take parts from each of the two chosen templates (whatever parts inspire you!) and use them to create a page of your own. It is completely OK to add a couple of additional KPD elements or papers if you’d like, but please keep it to just designs from KPD. When you’re done with your page, post it in the Template Mashup Challenge Gallery and also in the June 2026 Challenge Participation Thread in the forum to earn points towards a store discount for completing challenges.
I hope these two templates inspire you to document your memories! And also, these pages will be on sale in case you don’t already have them in your stash!
To help get your creative juices flowing, several members of our creative team were inspired to pay along with this challenge and created some lovely pages to share with you. Let’s take a look, shall we?!
First up is a page created by Stacia (@Stacia). I really like the way she subtly mixed the two templates. I like the muted colors in the photos and how they match the colors in her final page. In addition to the two templates she, used the Curated Team Favorites Military Kit for her background paper.

Next up is a page by Valerie (@nana_vg). I love that she converted her photos to black and white. With the cream backound and the beautiful the blue plaid, the B/W photos really pop. Valerie too was able to create her page using just the templates and a background paper which she got from the Vintage Mini Mix 11 kit.

And, finally, here’s the page that I (grantlaurensmom) couldn’t resist creating for this challenge. I just changed up the title work a bit, pulled in the frame cluster from one template, did a little rearranging, and popped in a background paper (Emilia Solids Paper Pack) which I recolored and voila, easy peasy I’ve got my page.
I hope these pages have inspired you! I want to thank my team members, Stacia and Valerie, for providing us with their beautiful example pages. Please join in on the challenge by creating your own page, using parts of both of the featured templates, and posting your pages in the Template Mashup Challenge gallery and the June 2026 Challenge Thread in the forum.
Thanks for looking and playing along, and we look forward to seeing your pages in the gallery!
Happy Scrapping and happy summer!!
